The article gets to the root cause of why marriage requires a commitment and work, but fails to give the solution to the problem. The only way to have a heavenly marriage is for our focus to be on God, His Will in our lives, the lessons He has for us to learn, the ways He wants us to change so we conform more to the image of Christ, and the witness we can be of His Power and Glory.<br /><br />Concerning the second article, it is hard for me to imagine any girl feeling the need to submit to a boyfriend, etc. It certainly would not be because they were following Biblical guidelines. It would only be because they were trying to please men and not God. The Bible is very clear about children submitting to parents and wives to husbands.
